About Autivic
Did you know, we have more or less 7 million children aged between 3 and 17 suffering from ADHD right now? That’s about 11% of the total population. Worldwide, the number is even greater (129 Million). It’s high time we work towards raising awareness, promoting knowledge, and helping people in preparing for Registered Behavioral Technician Exams. Qualified RBTs will provide emotional and practical help to ADHD affected children and youth. This will, in turn, make their lives better. This is why we came up with the Autivic Initiative!
What Is Our Mission in the Coming Years!
Obviously, we see Autivic growing from strength to strength in the coming five years. The Autivic team wishes to create and contribute to an environment where qualified RBTs can have a better reach when it comes to assisting children and adults to cope with their ADHD and Autism.
Autivic wishes to prepare beginners with adequate resources, guidelines, and to-do lists to better prepare them for RBT exams and other forms of ADHD behavioral therapy in the future. Aspiring RBTs can visit our website, download the RBT Exam study guides, Flashcards, and test their preparedness by answering RBT Mock Test Exam Questions.
Within five years, the Autivic team dreams to bridge the gap between an RBT professional or a doctor and an ADHD patient who needs good care for real. We aim to pair up patients with doctors of their choice for better and effective care when they need it the most.
But all that is still a long way away. For now, we are solely focusing on preparing aspiring RBT technicians for their exams and licensing from BCBA.
Our Content Policy
Since we're all for Aspiring and Practicing RBTs, Autivic needs to be extra careful in the type of resources and blogs it puts out on its website. And we are!
Let us come clean. We’re no psychiatrists. Rather, we have a panel of expert writers and editors who specialize in Psychology, Psychiatry, and ADHD related blogs and research materials.
When preparing Flashcards, mock tests, and other academic resources, we take a look at the rules and regulations of the RBT Governing body and double check everything to avert mistakes. Even the resources we publish are thoroughly proofread, edited, and verified for linguistic and factual accuracy.
What Are Our Goals?
Team Autivic is working towards three distinct goals. Firstly, we want to raise awareness about the importance of having RBTs in managing ADHD. We want to help aspiring RBTs by developing an organized knowledge base on RBT exams, how to prepare for them, what to do and what not to do, and more.
In addition to explaining the concepts, we help people prepare by letting them solve mock tests of different levels. This way, aspiring professionals will be able to evaluate their progress.
Our team offers newbies curated, organized, and easy-to-follow study guides and flash cards as well. This way, they’ll be able to study and prepare for different phases of RBT exams at their own pace.
Plus, we want to help novice RBTs in understanding what it means to be a behavioral technician, what are the responsibilities, how well the job pays, how they can help people with ADHD etc. Autivic is committed to help our readers and subscribers in making informed decisions and shaping their careers as RBTs.
